Magnolia's Story

Some people know her as Magnolia Jones, but most know her as the Warrior Princess for her fighting spirit. Magnolia was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at a very young age. Her glowing optimism and positive spirit make it hard not to gravitate toward her. The Bogue Chitto native continues to be under the watchful eye of her doctors in the Children’s Cancer Center. Magnolia is a mini-celebrity in the Batson Children’s Hospital world, but her stardom stretched beyond the walls of the hospital this past year when she got to spend time on stage with 2014 Miss Mississippi Jasmine Murray at the Miss Mississippi Pageant.
